Loving God on Purpose

As a mom, wife, Jesus follower, business owner, wearing multiple hats days can be busy. It can require a lot of time management and prioritizing to balance the demands of each role. Being a mom can be demanding, with the responsibility of raising and caring for a child. Being a wife can mean balancing the needs of the relationship with those of the family, mainly my spouse. Following Jesus may require finding time for spiritual practices and setting an example of faith. Being a business owner can mean dedicating time to running and growing the business, while juggling the various responsibilities and roles.

It can be difficult to balance all of these roles, but it can also be very rewarding. Being a mom can be one of the most fulfilling experiences, and being a wife can bring a great sense of companionship. Following Jesus bring a sense of purpose and guidance to my life. Being a business owner is a source of freedom and financial independence. And wearing multiple hats helps to develop skills such as time management, multitasking, and problem-solving.

However, it is important to remember to prioritize self-care and to seek support from family and friends when needed. It is also important to set boundaries and to communicate your needs and expectations with the people in your life. With that being said, this is why being a spiritual gangster is important, no matter what you have going on, keep God first.

The Truth About Love

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 is a well-known passage that talks about the nature of love. It states: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

This verse is frequently spoken aloud at weddings as a reminder of the characteristics that true love ought to have.

However, it serves as a reminder for all of us to make an effort to exhibit these traits in our interactions with people in all of our relationships. According to this verse, love is a deed. Love calls for effort, tolerance, and restraint. It demands that we talk and act in a polite and compassionate manner, putting the needs of others before our own. Love is not about keeping track of the wrongs or injuries we have endured. It's not about harboring resentments or getting even. Love is about forgetting the past and forgiving others. Love is also about celebrating the truth and defending what is morally just and jus. It is about having faith in other people's kindness even when it is difficult to do so.

Additionally, it stresses the importance of enduring adversity. Although true love is not simple, it is worth pursuing. It is a manifestation of God's love for us, and love is the only way we are able to properly mirror God to people around us. Let us make an effort to demonstrate the characteristics of love mentioned in this scripture in our interactions with our family, friends, and neighbors.

By doing this, we will not only be able to love others more, but we will also be able to love ourselves more.
